Ipe Wood Deck Tiles are covered with a protective oil layer during manufacture. Although it provides some initial protection against normal wear and UV rays, it is recommended that Ipe Wood Deck Transparent Oil Treatment be applied to your newly assembled deck as soon as possible. Manufacturer recommends this treatment twice yearly.
